PatientCraft Announces Holly Russo as President and CEO

340B consulting firm sharpens focus on program optimization and advisory services

PatientCraft, a healthcare consulting firm specializing in 340B program optimization, audit readiness and compliance, today announced the addition of industry expert, Holly Russo, RN, MSN, MSECS, as its new president and CEO. With the appointment of Russo, the company is also moving its corporate office from Dallas to El Paso.

Russo is widely recognized in the industry for her published articles and speaking engagements on 340B program management and compliance for associations such as HANYS, TORCH and HFMA. According to James Bozora, Vice President 340B Sales, Onco360, “Russo brings a rare blend of heart, intelligence and impeccable follow-through. She speaks from a strong knowledge base, garnering respect and trust across the entire 340B industry.”

Having worked for multiple 340B solution vendors, she has acquired in-depth knowledge of available solutions and 340B program best practices for both hospitals and health centers. In addition, as an experienced researcher and consultant, Russo has collaborated with leading research organizations on data analysis projects related to technology integration, client-centered care and clinical outcomes.

“Right now, we’re concentrating on helping covered entities optimize their 340B programs to achieve financial stability, improve medication access and adherence, and ultimately, produce better patient outcomes,” says Russo. Longer term, she plans to guide the company into additional areas of consulting that leverage her clinical and research background.

To grow the company, Russo intends to assemble a cadre of talented consultants, each with specialized knowledge of specific areas of 340B program management, such as specialty pharmacy, cash card programs and compliance.

“It’s difficult to meet the diverse staffing needs of hospitals and health centers, so we’re taking a different approach,” says Russo, choosing instead to partner with the best consultants in the industry. This approach will allow PatientCraft to create a solution and team specific to each covered entity’s needs.

Russo and her team will host a reception at the Omni Shoreham on July 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., prior to the opening of the 340B Coalition Summer Conference in Washington, DC. They will also be on hand in the PatientCraft booth throughout the conference for covered entities, 340B consultants and legal advisors interested in learning more about the benefits of partnering on 340B solutions.
